This is the first pattern I ever bought and first garment I’ve ever sewn, and it went so well! The instructions were great and it was super useful to have the video to watch for clarification too. I went size medium and I’m 5’6” and 145lbs, B cup bust. The only comment I have is that the dress is very short on me, I would’ve liked to have started with a couple more inches in length then hemmed it to my liking, as the back of the dress rides up a bit when I tie the ties and sadly my bum is out lol. other than it fits me gorgeously

SO proud this worked out so well for you as your very first make!! Such a great reminder for me to add more length - being short myself I always forget about my taller gals lol. Thank you so much! :)

I really loved this pattern. It was my first dress that I have made and I found this pattern easy to follow and having the video instructions made it even easier. I did notice that I may need to make some adjustments to the back panels as they seem a little big for me and make the back flare out at the back a bit but nothing some adjustments can't fix. I can't wait to start on my next project!

Thank you so much Brooklynn, so proud of you for completing your first dress!! Pattern adjustments are such a normal part of sewing and it sounds like you're already getting the hang of it, can't wait to hear how your next project goes!
